Agave Salmiana var Ferox .
Agaves are amazing exotic, drought tolerant plants. Native to Mexico and the North, Central and South of the United States, they are a very popular ornamental plants in the UK.
The Agave Salamiana variety Ferox, is very easy to grow needing very little maintenance.  It is a stunning agave, glossy green-green grey coloured leaves with beautiful pronounced patterns on their upper surface.
Characterized by large basal rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves typically having spiney margins and a sharp terminal point, it is better to plant them away from walkways.

Although they flower rarely, when they do, yellow flowers on a long inflourescence which are very attrctive to bees and birds are produced.

Great for exotic gardens, it's bold silhouette makes a wonderful architectural centrepiece.
