The Agave Gentryi 'Jaws' makes a wonderful architectural centrepiece. Characterized by symmetrical open form rosettes of fleshy, broad upright leaves, blueish-grey when young and maturing to green as they grow. Beautiful and unique imprinted patterns on their surfaces are left by large reddish teeth along their margins. Be mindful of where to plant as each leaf also has a sharp terminal point.
Easy to grow it is ideal for the cold wet climate of the UK.

Common Name: Gentryi's Agave, Gentryi's Century Plant.
Native to: Northeast Mexico.
Hardiness: Hardy to -10 and extremely drought tolerant.
Growth: Succulent with a large rosettes of bluish-grey to green thick, fleshy leaves, with beautiful pronounced patterns on their surfaces. Reddish teeth along their margins and a terminal spine. Easy to grow. Tolerates winter wet.
Sun: Full sun/partial shade.
Exposure: Any
Soil: Well drained, plenty of gravel.
Moisture: Water occasionally. Dry in winter.
