Agave Ovatifolia. 'Emerald'
The Agave Ovatifolia 'Emerald' is easy to grow and very cold hardy down to around -15 degrees. A stunning agave, a little more compact and slightly smaller in form than it's relative the Agave Ovatifolia, having emerald green coloured leaves as opposed to silver-grey.
Characterized by large basal rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves with beautiful pronounced patterns on their upper surface typically have spiny margins and a sharp terminal point, so it is better to plant them away from walkways.

Great for exotic gardens, it's bold silhouette makes a wonderful architectural centrepiece.

Agaves are amazing exotic, drought tolerant plants. Native to Mexico and the North, Central and South of the United States, they are a very popular ornamental plants in the UK.
