Agave 'Sharkskin'.  
Agaves are amazing exotic, drought tolerant plants. Native to Mexico and the North, Central and South of the United States, they are a very popular ornamental plants in the UK.
The Agave 'Sharkskin' is a very striking and structural Agave. Characterized by thick upright greyish-green leaves, triangular in shape. Evenly spaced they typically are smooth to the touch and have smooth margins, although a sharp terminal spine is still present, so probably better planting them away from walkways. Very slow growing it does produce offsets.   
This Agave is highly tolerant of urban pollution and even thrives in inner city enviroments. Also perfect for exotic gardens, it's bold silhouette makes a wonderful architectural centrepiece.
