Agave Utahensis var Utahensis.
The Agave Utahensis var Utahensis is a very tough and one of the most cold tolerant agaves as it is the most Northerly natural growing species in the world. Narrow, fleshy upright leaves, blue-green in colour form a relatively small rosette which with time produces offsets. Deeply scalloped, textured leaves have beautiful and unique imprinted patterns on their surfaces left by hooked teeth along their margins.
Be mindful of where to plant as each leaf also has a stout sharp terminal point.Easy to grow but slow, great for exotic gardens. Can be quite variable species.
These are exceptional quality agaves from a Specialist Grower. Photo 1 shows some of some of the actual stock now. Limited availability.
