These Ancient Olive Trees each have a unique and interesting gnarly trunk topped by a beautiful open crown. Grown in wire mesh containers they are easy to plant and perfect for bringing interest to your garden, patio or courtyard. Perfect as an ornamental, evergreen tree, it can be left natural or pruned to keep it within it's space limits. All our Olive Trees are hand-picked by ourselves.
The Olea Europaea or European Olive Tree instantly brings a piece of the Mediterranean to your garden. It has been grown in the Mediterranean for centuries for oil and fruit production and has become increasingly popular in the UK as it can tolerate temperatures down to -15 degrees whilst being very wind resistant. If you would like fruit, a sunny spot is better.
Caring for an Olive Tree is easy, remember they are a fruit tree so they will need regular watering and feeding. Feed your Olive Trees with a balanced fertilizer such as 'Olive Focus' once a fortnight from May to October to ensure your Tree grows well in the UK.
