Large Apple Trees. Espalier trees. Variety 'Golden Delicious'.

Espalier Trained Fruit Trees add a formal structural element to any garden, whilst also giving the benefit of being easy to place without taking up too much space and of course home-grown fruit!
The 'Golden Delicious' Apple Tree is a very attractive traditional variety of dessert apple producing good regular crops of medium-large fruit. A great eating apple or for use in pies and sauces which also stores particularly well. Roundish shaped apples are thin skinned, pale green to yellow in colour with the occasional red flush, whilst the crisp firm flesh is quite juicy with a honey like sweetness.

Flowering in April-May these trees have very attractive fragrant white blossom followed by the apples ready to harvest in November. Easy to grow, 'Golden Delicious' is partially self fertile so while a pollination partner is not strictly necessary to produce a crop a larger one may be gained by having one. Has gained RHS Award For Garden Merit.

These trees are exceptional quality, from a specialist grower. Photo 1 show some of the Apple trees in stock now. The photo was taken in January before they re-foliate. Please Note: Heights stated include pot sizes.
