Chamadorea Plumosa.
The Chamadorea Plumosa is a very graceful and elegant palm which looks like a miniature version of a Queen Palm( Syagrus Romanzoffiana). The slender solitary trunk resembles bamboo with prominent rings. Above a 'loose' crownshaft is a crown of finely pinnate and densely plumose bluish-green leaves. The narrow leaflets grow in clusters irregularly spaced around the rachis.
Although not cold hardy this beautiful palm excels as an indoor specimen for conservatories, greenhouses or atriums and brings a truely unique and tropical touch. When mature it will only reach around 10ft tall.
