Chamaedorea Radicalis (arborescent Form). Hardy Palour Palm
The Chamaedorea Radicalis is probably the most cold tolerant of all the Chamaedoreas. There are two distinct forms, the arborescent form produces a trunk and is the most rare. The trunk is light green in colour and ringed with a distinct crownshaft. The crown is open and fern-like with graceful pinnate leaves medium-dark green in colour and slightly glossy. The long leaflets grow from the rachis at a slight angle producing a beautiful 'V' shape although there are rarely more then 6 leaves even when mature.Slow growing, this palm is very tropical looking and handsome. A great one for the collectors
