The Diospyros Kaki 'Pendula' Tree is a unique form of Persimmon fruit tree and brings a tropical look to any garden. A smallish ornamental tree it has cascading branches with broad glossy deep green leaves which turn bright orange to red giving a spectacular show in Autumn. Being deciduous the leaves are lost but the fruit can stay on the branches long into winter. The fruit themselves are edible, large and lantern shaped, red-orange in colour and have a delicate sweet taste. Easy to grow this elegant weeping fruit tree is happy to be kept in a container or in the ground. Self fertile.
