Dypsis Dicipiens. Manambe Palm
The Dypsis Dicipiens is an unusual collectors palm from Central Madagascar. This imposing and beautiful palm tree has a large crown of gracefully arching plumose blue-green tough leaves on top of a smooth cigar shaped grey coloured trunk when mature. Can be both solitary or suckering with 2-3 young shoots at it's base. Slow growing but definately worth the wait.
Cold tolerant when established, it is still a palm which is quite hard to come by and quite sought after.
