The Epipremnum Aureum more commonly known as the Golden Pothos is grown in the UK as a very ornamental and decorative houseplant. Large heart shaped glossy mid green leaves have decorative mustard-yellow coloured marble markings.
An effective plant for filtering and purifying air according to tests carried out by NASA, it is a popular houseplant and great for providing a focal point in either office or home. Easy to care for, it is a plant which will thrive in almost any conditions and is quite happy in flourescent light and shaded areas, even keeping its variation. It can withstand a certain amount of neglect. Has attained the RHS award for garden merit.

Latin Name: Epipremnum Aureum.
Common Name: Golden Pothos, Devil's Ivy, Devil's Vine, Silver Vine, Taro Vine, Ceylon Creeper.
Origin: Australia, China, Japan and India.
Hardiness: Protect from frost and draughts.
Growth Characteristics: Evergreen tree. Mid-green heart shaped leaves variegated with irregular splashes of mustard yellow. Easy to prune to keep in shape. Air purifying plant. Easy to care for. Harmful if ingested.
Sunlight: Shade/ indirect light. Thrives in flourescent and low lights whilst keeping its variation.
Exposure: Indoor Houseplant.
Soil: Well drained soil.
Moisture: Allow to dry between waterings. Mist regularly. Can use a pebble tray.
Feeding: Feed once a month through summer with a liquid feed.
