The Passiflora Marijke is a fast growing climber with the most beautiful exotic flowers produced in succession throughout the summer. A Hybrid between Passiflora Decsaisneana and Passiflora Caerulea, the flowers are scented with deep red petals and sepals and a centre crown that contains numerous purple and white wavy filaments.
The vine itself is square stemmed with broad, dark green three lobed leaves and pale green tendrils.
Frost tender, but they make great container plants for consevatories and greenhouses.

Common Name: Passion Flower, Square Stemmed Passion Flower.
Origin: Central and South America, West Indies.
Hardiness: Frost tender.
Growth Characteristics: Fast growing climber. Large colourful exotic looking flowers produced successively through summer. Rich-green lobed leaves with light green tendrils. Square stems.
Sunlight: Full sun/partial sun.
Exposure: Sheltered.
Soil: Well drained soil.
Moisture: Water regularly through summer, less in winter, but keep moist.
Feeding: feed once every two weeks in growing season.
