Peach Tree. Variety 'Royal Glory'.

The 'Royal Glory' is a very vigorous variety of Peach Tree with an upright but broad form, it is easy to grow and a reliable producer of fruit. Scented white or pink blossom is produced in Springtime followed by the peaches which are ready to harvest around late July-August. The fruit is very showy, spherical in shape and a good size. The skin is yellow- orange with up to 80% of it flushed red when ripe and the flesh is a rich golden yellow with a firm texture, packed with delicious sweet juice, delicate flavours and plenty of vitamins. The Variety 'Royal Glory' is self fertile, meaning no other tree is needed to set the fruit. A very decorative tree with oblong leaves it grows very well in a sunny sheltered location, great for coastal locations and hardy throughout the UK. It is classed as a 'freestone' variety which means the stone comes away from the flesh very easily.
