The Sabal Palmetto Palm is a slow growing palm. Withstanding temperatures down to around -13 it is a very attractive and tropical looking palm in summer with the benefit of being evergreen in winter. Large glossy green fan-shaped leaves crown a strong trunk which has a unique pattern formed from old fronds which have been cut off.
This is a great palm as it is tolerant of drought, wind, salt water and salt spray.
