Sabal Texensis. Brazoria Palmetto
The Sabal Texensis is a medium height, trunk forming palm with a crown of large green fan shaped leaves. Originally thought to be a naturally occuring hybrid between Sabal Minor and Sabal Mexicana 

Cold hardy down to around -12 or lower, it also exhibits a high resistance to wind, drought and salt spray when established. Plant in well draining sandy soil in a sunny posisition. Also suitable as a container plant too.  

A great palm for the collector or enthusiasts.
