Thrinax Radiata.
The Thrinax Radiata is slow growing very graceful palm. Usually having a solitary slender trunk, being straight and smooth with typically lots of dead roots above the ground. Topping the trunk there is no crownshaft, but between 12-20 nearly circular, deeply divided palmate leaves, glossy medium-dark green on the topside and silvery-green undersides. Very attractive when young this striking architectural palm is quite unusual for the UK and great for collectors.
